During last night’s Spurs-Nets game, it was clear that the Nets were attempting to guard the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge specifically, but fell short. During the post-game, we spoke to head coach Gregg Popovich who is proud of the role Aldridge has shifted towards.
The Nets are on the chase in an attempt to kill this losing streak the team has been on for a couple of seasons now. Things are just not working out. During last night’s game, the Nets tied the game twice and in one instance, you would’ve thought that they would beat the Spurs. But then, LaMarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills stepped in. The two were putting in that work and Aldridge displayed so much leadership last night.
We spoke to Pops during the post-game and he spoke exceptionally about his player. With Kawhi Leonard out, Aldridge is the leader that this team needs.
