Ahead of Alabama vs. Georgia SEC kick-off Monday night, Bulldogs alumni Herschel Walker sat down with Fox & Friends to make certain his sunken place standing was still in tact due to President Trump’s expected attendence at the game.
During his time at the mic, Walker gushed calling Trump a “great man,” a “great president,” and made certain to remind viewers he played for Trump in the 80’s.
“We’ve talked and we’re going to meet tonight,” Walker said. “I haven’t seen him in a while. A lot of people don’t know I played for him in the USFL. We’ve been friends ever since. We still work together on some things — well we did before he became the big man on campus, as you may say. And so tonight, I’m excited to see him.”
