Then, we get to their actual careers and how this incident didn’t bother Timberlake at all, clearly, but Jackson really went through it with radio not really playing her, she wasn’t allowed to go to the Grammys that year, MTV didn’t play her videos etc.
It’s crazy to see how the industry just threw such an iconic person in music away while Timberlake got to do him. However, that’s why we find Twitter doing Janet Jackson appreciation posts and threads because these threads of Janet might be better than the halftime show.
