Demar DeRozan has vowed to continue speaking up about depression and has encouraged others to do the same, ever since he revealed his own struggles via Twitter when he tweeted “This depression get the best of me.” per TMZ Sports.
The Toronto Raptors All-Star opened up about his mental health situation with the Toronto Star when he said, “It’s nothing I’m against or ashamed of. Now, at my age, I understand how many people go through it.”
