What you might not know is that Murray is also one of the best outfielders in the 2018 MLB Draft class, batting .296 on the year.
Murray has until July 13 to sign a deal with the A’s or not, unless Oakland is willing to let Murray play one more year of QB for the Sooners.
Oklahoma fans have been drooling over Kyler all offseason after he went 18-21 in pass attempts as Baker Mayfield’s backup in 2017.
Murray is no joke. He was already on some early Heisman watches too.
However, the joke is about Murray’s checkbook today. Because if Murray decides to play football next year, he would be leaving $1.8 million on the table (and potentially up to $4.8 million, depending on what the A’s are willing to offer Murray to put the shoulder pads and helmet down).
As of right now, Murray is still remaining silent on whether he is playing football or baseball in 2018.
