Joe Jackson passed away early this morning at 89 years old from his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer. Media outlets around the world are sending their condolences and well wishes to the Jackson family. However, some Twitter users do not share the same sentiment, attacking almost every remembrance post hitting the web this morning.
After leading the legendary Jackson 5 to the top of the charts and into homes in every country, Joe Jackson was ridiculed for the way he managed and even raised his children. This somehow translated into the need to cancel any need to send love to their family, or celebrate his life. Jackson’s grandson, Taj, son of Tito Jackson responded:
Disgusted by some of the comments I’m reading about my grandpa Joe by those who didn’t even know him. Please don't just regurgitate what you were spoon fed by the press. Joe was loved by our ENTIRE family and our hearts are in pain. Let us grieve without the nastiness.#ripthehawk
