In the video above Dak Prescott calls players who protest against racism and police brutality during the anthem “controversial”.
He also says that he is distracted by it and at the stadium isn’t the time or place to protest.
Prescott is mimicking Trump, MAGA and Jerry Jones’ talking points. Maybe he truly believes this or maybe he just wants to make sure he gets a big contract extension and doesn’t want to rock the boat.
Whatever the case he tried to use LeBron as a way to take a shot at protestors and was flamed in the comments. It was a cheap attempt by Dak to use LeBron for his MAGA agenda, so he deserves to be flamed.
