The Mayweather vs. McGregor super fight is just over a year in the past but that’s not stopping promoters from collecting their money from Cesar of VH1’s Black Ink Crew.
TMZ reports that the reality TV start and tattoo shop owner is being sued by Joe Hand Promotions for illegally streaming the PPV fight at his Atlanta tattoo shop, a commercial location.
Remember, the fight cost most people $99 on Pay-Per-View — but if you wanted to show the fight in a commercial business, you had to pay thousands of dollars extra in licensing fees.
Joe Hand is suing Ceaser and Black Ink Atlanta for satellite and cable piracy along with copyright infringement … and they’re hoping to get more than $100,000 in damages.
It’s unclear how Joe Hand Promotions made the discovery but they are ready to collect.
