When will these young rappers learn that southern California gang culture isn’t a fad or a gimmick and should never be taken lightly? NBA Young Boy is finding out.
During a recent video shoot in Watts, Young Boy was feeling tough when a carload of what appeared to be Bloods pulled up. Surrounded by a big crowd, he exchanged a few words with the gents until he heard, “What’s Good?”
As expected, he and the people around him shook the spot and ducked for cover.
Young people who only have a romanticized idea of gang culture, a word of advice:
Stop playing with real-life gangsters! They don’t like people fronting on the set and have killed for that sort of thing.
Or ‘set trippin’ as they used to say in my day.
To see NBA Young Boy, and the crowd on hand, shake the spot, flip the page.
