47-year-old Patrick Bingman was arrested after making terroristic threats on the San Francisco BART subway train. He was seen trying to start a red chainsaw, according to The Daily Mail. He was also in possession of a second one.
Bingman also threatened the passengers by saying he’ll cut their heads off and said it’ll be a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre along with a BART massacre. As soon as the second chainsaw was discovered, multiple passengers were seen starting to leave their section of the train.
A woman tweeted BART’s Twitter handle saying the situation isn’t funny and that they had to do better. They responded by saying they’ve never seen anything like this before and she should send a photo to the BART Watch App. She was also directed to alert a train operator.
Bingman ended up being arrested at BART’s Lake Merritt stop. He was taken to the Alameda County Jail and was charged for making threats. He also had other pending warrants on his record.
