Kevin Durant is different from LeBron.
LeBron always has everything planned out and very cohesive team. Kevin Durant is very smart, but is prone to change his mind based on opinions of people who he doesn’t even know.
It is too early to say whatever KD is thinking right now, will be what KD is thinking when the season is over, but according to Scoops B, Durant is already leaning towards LA with a plot twist.
Kevin Durant will join the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019, a league source tells me.
Durant, a two-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, is highly considering joining the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2019.
If a move to get Anthony Davis via a trade doesn’t come to fruition this season, as I reported early Saturday, the team would still have Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart from their current core, along with LeBron James.
On the Anthony Davis front, however, my source is emphatic that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in a potential Laker team with LeBron, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis next year.
Anything is possible, the one caveat would a move like this do anything to change the perception that Kevin Durant always looks for the easiest route to a title. Frankly, I think it is smart to look for the easiest route, but he has been trolled relentlessly about it and teaming up with LeBron probably wouldn’t stop that.
We shall see how it all shakes out.
