Tekashi 6ix9ine has had a crazy downfall after a very hot start to 2018 with his music. He was arrested by the feds on racketeering, murder conspiracy, weapons, and assault charges. He will remain locked up until at least his trial date on September 4, 2019. Despite the circumstances, he still released his debut album “Dummy Boy” last week.
More legal issues are now facing 6ix9ine’s way. According to TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper owes $500,000 to promoters Hits Before Fame & DMV Events. This was part of a show 6ix9ine was supposed to do for a Howard University homecoming event in October.
The venue was at Echostage and 6ix9ine supposedly left 35 minutes before show time. He then left for New Jersey the same night to attend Powerhouse. Promoters say they lost $58,470 due to 6ix9ine’s absence. If he doesn’t pay up the $500k, a the lawsuit will be processed.
