I believe a lot of people feel this way.
It isn’t excusing R Kelly’s behavior, but when you hear a parent say they knew about R Kelly’s reputation but then let him be in control of their 17-year-old daughter, that doesn’t compute with a lot of people.
Da Brat says R Kelly is like family and wants him to get help, but also wants the parents to take some responsibility themselves because some of these situations could have been avoided.
