The legend Michael Jackson is gone but the dark part of his life has come back to light. Coincidentally right after Lifetime exposes R. Kelly with “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary.
The allegations of Michael Jackson sexually abusing children will be hitting the screens at the Sundance Film Festival. Jackson’s estate criticized HBO for profiting off of the allegations.
“In 1992, Michael gave HBO their highest rated special ever. Now, to repay him they give a voice to admitted liars.”
There has been several accusations that have been confirmed false. In 2005, a teenager admitted that Jackson did not molest him and in 2007, two years before Jackson’s death, a mother of one of the boys said she lied about her son being molested by Jackson.
The fans are not having it either and with that being said, law enforcement are taking extra precautions and will be present including bomb dogs according to reports. It been said that the most disruptive part of screenings is during the Q&A.
Protests are expected and allowed as long as streets are not blocked.
The screening occurs on January 25.
