Steve Smith and Jalen Ramsey both raise valid points. Perhaps Watson was trying to inject energy into what was a lifeless day from the Texans offense.
Overall Saturday was a miserable afternoon for the Texans. After scoring on their opening possession, the Colts spent the rest of the outing controlling the action with consistent offense and a crushing defense. Trailing 21-0 in the second half, Deshaun Watson drew the ire of NFL Network analyst Steve Smith after signaling first down while trailing by multiple scores.
“Put the ball down, get your a** back in the huddle, and get your guys down the field,”
Jalen Ramsey has never been shy about voicing his opinion on and off the field. Coming to the defense of Watson’s post play celebrations, Ramsey feels you should “swag it out” no matter the score. He further goes on to explain why if you don’t celebrate while losing, critics will call you a front runner.
Interesting take to say the least, do you agree with Ramsey or Smith?
