A dog belonging to Dak Prescott is in custody after it bit a neighbor.
TMZ reports that one of Prescott’s pit bulls escaped his home through an insecure door and began fighting with another dog. When a neighbor attempted to de-escalate the conflict, Prescott’s dog bit her.
According to the Frisco Police Dept., officials received a call from a neighbor on Monday around 10:51 AM to report a loose pit bull fighting with another dog through a fence.
The neighbor claims she tried to intervene and break up the fight — but Dak’s dog snapped at her — causing enough damage that she was transported to a local hospital.
Officials say the woman’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Prescott, who wasn’t home at the time of the incident, could be charged with a Class C misdemeanor and punished by a $500 fine. The dog is currently being quarantined and will remain in custody for 10 days.
