23. Houston Texans- OL Andre Dillard, Washington State
The Texans filled their secondary need a bit with the signing of Bradley Roby, so their most logical pick would be offensive line. Here, they take Andre Dillard from Washington State and provide Deshaun Watson with some much needed protection.
24. Oakland Raiders (via Bears)- EDGE Rashan Gary, Michigan
The Raiders here still have a massive need for guys who can pass the rusher. They fill that need some more with the selection of Rashan Gary. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gary ends up in the top 5, but I also won’t be surprised if he falls to the Raiders at 24.
25. Philadelphia Eagles- RB Josh Jacobs, Alabama
The Eagles LOVE to use multiple running backs during the course of the season. Bringing in Jacobs here would be an excellent back to add to Corey Clement and Josh Adams leaving Doug Pederson satisfied.
26. Indianapolis Colts- DL Christian Wilkins, Clemson
The Colts magically ended their offensive line struggles leaving selection #26 to be a rather interesting one. They end up selecting Clemson standout Christian Wilkins. The Colts need difference makers on the defensive line and adding Wilkins would be a great step towards rebuilding that defense.
27. Oakland Raiders (via Cowboys)- OL Dalton Risner, Kansas State
The Raiders don’t need much of a WR after trading for Antonio Brown and signing Tyrell Williams. They select Dalton Risner here at 27. Kelechi Osemele was traded to the Jets in the offseason so adding an interior offensive lineman makes a ton of sense here.
28. Los Angeles Chargers- QB Daniel Jones, Duke
The Chargers are in a weird spot. They can decide to go after the best player to address their little needs to MAYBE go after a title or draft Phillip Rivers’ potential successor. They go after Rivers’ successor here at 28. They have had chances to go after Rivers’ successor in the past, but they get him here in the way of Daniel Jones.
29. Kansas City Chiefs- EDGE Zach Allen, Boston College
The Chiefs surely did have a juggernaut of an offense, but their defense stunk it up for the majority of 2018. Here they add Zach Allen, who’s been rising up some boards as of late. He can be plugged on that defensive line and help Chris Jones get after quarterbacks for some time if all goes well.
30. Green Bay Packers (via Saints)- OL Chris Lindstrom, Boston College
The Packers have another need at offensive line, a need that will be filled in the way of Chris Lindstrom. New head coach Matt LaFleur needs offensive lineman who can fit his scheme to make his zone run scheme work well. With 4.9 speed, he can move and LaFleur LOVES lineman who can move.
31. Los Angeles Rams- DL Jerry Tillery, Notre Dame
The Rams have a lot of needs on the defensive side of the ball. But with Ndamukong Suh most likely gone from Los Angeles, the Rams have a need at defensive tackle. They select Jerry Tillery here at 31. Tillery fought through some nagging injuries during his time at Notre Dame, but his talent is far too great to be concerned about that majorly.
32. New England Patriots- WR AJ Brown, Ole Miss
The Patriots did what they did best and let every one of their impending important free agents go. They do though have a serious need at WR. Adding AJ Brown would make Patriots haters beg for mercy. Adding a player like Brown to this already potent Patriots offense would be ideal to extending Brady’s career even more.
