Tonight in Minneapolis, the Final Four concludes in the national championship game between Texas Tech and Virginia. Minneapolis is also the home of legendary artist Prince.
ESPN just did a segment on Prince and his love for basketball along with the Chappelle’s Show segment on Dave Chappelle dressing as Prince. Charlie Murphy also detailed playing in his legendary pickup game against Prince. Prince’s comments about the sketch were also revealed and added that he became close with Chappelle after that. Friends and family members of Prince were interviewed in ESPN’s tribute along with Al Nuness, who coached Prince at Central High School. As far as new info about Eddie Murphy playing against Prince in that game, Prince ended up winning because Murphy’s own ‘Party All The Time‘ song was playing.
