The Dallas Cowboys will open training camp later this month on July 27th. A familiar face is wanting to be there for it.
Per David Moore Of The Dallas Morning News, Randy Gregory plans to petition for reinstatement within the next 10 days so he can take part in training camp. Nothing has been filed yet, but Gregory has started the process of gathering all the required documents the NFL would need.
Since 2015, Gregory has been suspended 4 times for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. Given his history, there is no certainty that commissioner Goodell will fully reinstate him and it’s unlikely that he will be able to come back without any missed games.
Gregory hasn’t missed or failed a test since being suspended so he’s on the right track.
