The rapper known as Casanova has found himself in some hot water after a woman – Niya Rucker claims he ordered his entourage to “take whatever action” to retrieve Rucker’s phone from her as she dined at the Good Stuff Diner in New York City.
Casanova was out to dinner with a group of friends in August of last year when the rapper allegedly mistook Rucker taking a video of her meal for taking a video of him and his group – including some females, none of which were the rappers wife.
From there Casanova and his henchmen approached and attacked Ms. Rucker, with one of them putting her in a stanglehold while the rapper himself grabbed her phone and deleted the Instagram Live post.
The injuries sustained during this altercation were substantial with the victim currently receiving treatment for a fractured jaw, dental damage, a split lip – all of this while once she was unconscious from the stranglehold she was dropped abruptly to the floor causing additional damage.
It should be known that the MC did turn himself into police the week after the incident to which his group posted the $10k bail – he is still awaiting trial for felony second-degree robbery.
In an exclusive interview with Pix 11 Niya Rucker speaks to the fact that this is more so a case of holding people accountable regardless of their social standing, and if the claims Rucker is making are accurate we can only hope for justice to be served.
