As previously reported, Ben Simmons posted allegations of an Australian Casino allegedly, racially profiling him and friends trying to enter their establishment on Monday.
Now a spokesperson for the venue are strongly refuting all claims of any sorts of racial profiling that allegedly took place.
The spokesperson according to TMZ,
Simmons’ video and remarks did not reflect the real story. Staffers at the casino were simply following protocol for ID’ing people who appear to be under the age of 25 and that Simmons and his friends were not denied entry.
She continued with ,
“Crown strenuously rejects reports that it discriminated against a group of visitors last night. Crown’s internal security policy requires our security officers to check identification of those persons they believe to be under the age of 25, this is an enhanced safeguard to ensure that no one under the age of 18 is permitted entry to the Casino Floor as required by Law. The group subsequently provided identification and were permitted entry. Crown is an inclusive workplace.”
This morning Ben Simmons chimed in again on his twitter page to reiterate what went down.
