An ex-opponent of Floyd Mayweather Jr. is going to prison.
Carlos Manuel Baldomir, an Argentinian, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for sexual assault charges.
The details of what got him in trouble are pretty disgusting.
Baldomir was originally arrested in 2016 when allegations were made by his ex-wife that he molested their daughter between 2012 and 2014, when the girl was seven to eight years old.
18 years is way too short in my opinion but alas.
He’ll rot away for 18 years, better than no punishment at all.
Baldomir fought Mayweather in a welterweight fight in 2006.
He put up a strong fight, but lost to Mayweather in 12 rounds by unanimous decision.
