The Philadelphia Eagles have found some quarterback help from an unlikely source.
Longtime veteran QB Josh McCown is leaving ESPN to come out of retirement to sign a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
This according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
McCown, who retired after 16 seasons in the NFL, intends to resume his broadcasting career after the upcoming season concludes.
He will enter his 17th season in the NFL and provide the Eagles desperate help after suffering multiple losses to quarterbacks Nate Sudfeld with a broken wrist and Cody Kessler who is currently in concussion protocol.
McCown signs a fully guaranteed $2 million deal to play for the Eagles, the could be worth up to $5.4 million.
