The Bears got a solid 31-15 win in Washington on Monday night to improve their record to 2-1. QB Mitch Trubisky threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns. What made the most noise was after the game, Running Back Tarik Cohen went on Instagram Live and there was madness in the background.
That madness was Guard Kyle Long completely naked by his locker. Cohen didn’t notice at all and it had his Instagram feed in shambles. Per ESPN, Chicago’s Head Coach Matt Nagy released a statement regarding the incident and said that there will be a new policy going forward. He mentioned that Cohen is is apologetic and embarrassed about what happened as well.
“Without a doubt, it is [a policy going forward],” Nagy said, via ESPN. “First of all, it’s a league rule, so that’s that. And I think it’s unfortunate that that happened. Tarik feels bad and is apologetic and embarrassed that it happened. I think it’s something that you need to do is you learn from it. It was a mistake and nothing that is malicious at all. But it was a mistake so let’s make sure that that mistake doesn’t happen again to all of our players.”
Cohen ended up rushing for a shocking -2 yards on Monday night. It’s definitely smart to always check who’s behind you whether you’re taking a selfie, video or going live on social media though. Flip the page to see the IG live video by Cohen.
