Last week, 28-year-old Raleigh, NC rapper Box Carlito was shot and killed, which was also his hometown. At the time, Carlito had a buzz in the area for his new “72 Hours” mixtape which was recently released.
Now, two men are being charged for first-degree murder after the fatal shooting of him and 31-year-old Jaquan Tyrone Dumas, who was also killed at the same time, according to Raleigh’s News & Observer. They are Jonathan Isaiah Manning and Tyshon Gerod Solomon. Dumas survived as he was treated at a nearby hospital but Carlito was dead at the scene.
