The Separation of Kevin Durant from the Golden State Warriors has taken the veil off of what seemed on the surface like a match made in Heaven.
Dominated the league for two seasons the Golden State Warriors seemed all but poised to win a 3rd straight NBA title with zero signs of slowing down. That was until injuries at key positions in the Finals against the Toronto Raptors along with the stellar play of Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry proved too much for the Warriors to overcome.
Fast forward to now, Kevin Durant has joined forces with Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn while the original 3 for Golden State Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson prepare to start the season in a brand new facility in San Francisco.
