Former Knick Charles Oakley was recently asked about his thoughts on Carmelo Anthony being blackballed from the league and he says
“You never know. I’m being blackballed and I didn’t do nothing wrong.”
Oakley believes he’s being blackballed solely because of the incident he had with Knicks owner James Dolan in 2017 where he was banned from MSG and because Dolan just doesn’t like him.
He also doesn’t feel the league is taking it serious saying they take a stand on everything else but not this issue. Oakley also shares his disappointment in NBA commissioner Adam Silver because he hasn’t done anything.
While mentioning how he’s taking a stand, Oakley compares himself to Colin Kaepernick who is currently being blackballed by the NFL.
I’m not sure if Oakley is being blackballed but the situation isn’t anything like Kaps situation.
Oakley does say he’s still banned despite Dolan lifting the ban not too long after he banned him.
