At first, people were thinking maybe Mort was saying rats leaving a sinking ship be it in Jacksonville or Miami, but once the internet detectives got a hold of it, it appears Mort was sending shots.
According to Deadspin after three scoops Adam Schefter tweeted out, Rapoport tweeted out the exact tweet a minute later, the Mort added to his rat count.
