The Patriots played the Jets on Monday night. They won convincingly 33-0 showing dominance on the defensive end once again, With some offensive spurts. The offense has not been explosive as the Patriots would like it to be.
Last night the Patriots offense looked better then it did last week, but with this breaking news that the Falcons are trading Mohamed Sanu for a 2nd round draft pick to the Patriots should help Tom Brady and this offense improve in the passing game.
The passing game has been effected for many reasons. The offensive line has been banged up starting with The leader of the group Andrews being put on IR, also LT Wynn is injured.
As we all know by now Antonio Brown is not with the team anymore and regardless what you may think about him he was a talent on that field and had to be accounted for. Even their 1st round draft pick N’keal Harry was banged up for the first 7 games and is just now working himself back into the rotation.
Sanu should offer Brady another big target to look out for and his experience could make it easier for him to be a plug and play for the team. Also worth mentioning Patriots did try to trade for him last year and the deal just didn’t happen.
