After Warriors guard Klay Thompson tore his ACL in the finals, most thought he’d be back by February or March. That apparently won’t happen.
According to Warriors coach Steve Kerr who spoke with NBC’s Logan Murdock, it’s unlikely that Klay plays this season at all.
Kerr does say that they have left the door open for him to come back but nites that April 1st will be the 9 month mark of his recovery and that’s the normal timetable for an ACL injury.
Kerr could just not want to say that Klay will come back sometime during the season just in case he does miss the entire season. Whatever the case is, missing Klay is a huge blow to the Warriors.
With Klay they could be contenders, without him the Warriors could go out in the first round or even miss the playoffs.
