3. Ride Derrick Henry Until You Can’t Anymore
Before anyone thinks I’m some sort maniac, you’re right.
In all seriousness though, Derrick Henry needs to be given the rock as many times as he can have it Sunday. The Chiefs hold the 4th worst run defense in all of football, giving up around 140 rushing yards per game.
Dude, that’s like a freaking crap ton.
I don’t care how you have to get Derrick Henry to run the football. Whether it’s in i-form with 13 personnel, out of shotgun with 11 personnel, or spreading it out even more with 10 personnel.
Give.Derrick.Henry.The.Damn.Football.
If you seriously can’t give Derrick Henry 20+ carries Sunday, then there’s no point of you calling plays anymore.
None.
4. The Titans’ Defense Will Have to Sit Back and Pray
No disrespect to this Titans defense whatsoever, as they’ve been the main reason the Titans haven’t spiraled our od control yet.
But these are the Chiefs, a team led by offensive genius Andy Reid, and a superstar in Patrick Mahomes.
Plus as already mentioned, Jayon Brown, Jurrell Casey, and Malcom Butler are all out for this game.
That spells big, big trouble for the Titans this Sunday. This defense could be in for a very long day if they can’t get some sort of pass rush going early.
Because once Mahomes and company get some sort of rhythm, they’re probably one of the hardest offenses to slow down.
Not even basing this claim on recent comparisons, but all time comparisons.
5. Titans’ WRs Big Chance to Shine With Corey Davis Out
He leads the Titans in receiving yards and has been a spark for an offense that’s more boring than watching someone clip their toenails.
With Corey Davis most likely not playing due to a hip injury, Brown and others will have to pick up the slack on offense.
Adam Humphries has a shot to receive more targets in any game he’s played this year.
Either way, this group will have to step up to mask the expected absence of Corey Davis.
