Former Steelers wide-out and star receiver Antonio Brown voiced his stance on the Mason Rudolph-Myles Garrett assault that took place during the live telecast of Thursday Night football between division foe Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns.
Even though Brown is currently out of the NFL and no longer a Pittsburgh Steeler he deep down is Black & Yellow and that showed during a recent tweet.
The tweet from AB states,
“This for you Mason”
The picture that was tweeted shows AB during a matchup against the Browns during the 2014 season, lunging which ultimately caused his cleats to go through the facemask of a Browns punter during a punt return.
There is a written rule in every NFL locker room that you should be willing to always stand up for your brother, which was also mentioned by Hall of Famer Deion Sanders who tweeted in support of Maurkice Pouncey who defended Mason last night.
During the brawl, Maurkice is seen throwing haymakers at Myles Garrett and stomping at his head in support of his quarterback who moments earlier suffered an atrocious blow from his own helmet by the hands of Myles Garrett.
Deion tweeted,
“Just so yall know that inside a NFL locker room Maurkice Pouncey is a hero. He protected his QB and he was willing to risk it all for his teammate. Ain’t many dogs like that left in the game. He should be fined but no Suspension for Pouncey. That’s a REAL TEAMMATE”
