Urban Meyer coaching in Jerry’s world?
As delicious and hilarious of an idea it is, I highly doubt that this type of move would go down.
Dallas is currently undergoing some turmoil within the organization, particularly with the coaching staff. If Garrett doesn’t receive a new deal from the Cowboys, which all signs point to him not receiving one, then Meyer could be an option.
But Meyer has retired from 2 big time programs due to health problems and is rumored to be interested in coaching again. Although his name has been mostly linked to USC, a move to the NFL would be kind of fun.
It would also give Cowboys fans a reason to be excited about a coaching staff, something they are far from going through right now.
Urban Meyer is an unpredictable guy, so maybe this will be something to keep an eye on.
