Kevin Love on Why He Has Been Acting Like a Child Lately and Possibility of Being Traded Before Deadline(Video)

The Cavaliers have been in rebuild mode ever since LeBron James left for the Lakers in 2018 free agency. They currently stand at 10-27 and have the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference. Kevin Love is averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds per game but has had frustrations with the team lately, notably in a 117-97 loss in Toronto where he threw a tantrum by slapping seats on the bench. He also supposedly went off on his teammates and Cleveland GM Koby Altman along with being fined $1,000.

Love  finally spoke on the reported tension to local media today and he said that his relationship with Altman is fine. He even said he was acting like a 13-year-old but included that people wanted to paint a narrative that he didn’t want to be in Cleveland. Love stressed the point that he’s always wanted to be there.

Love might’ve signaled that he could be moved by the trade deadline as he said he doesn’t know what the next few weeks will hold. He knows Cleveland wants to be younger and he’s accepting their rebuilding phase. Love is still a very solid player but it seems that the Cavs might want to go in a different direction at this point, especially after the recent drama.
