Kyrie Irving is never one to keep his thought and feelings to himself under any circumstance, and he let them rip following the Brooklyn Nets lost to the Philadelphia Sixers on Wednesday.
Irving examined the Nets roster ad concluded are one or two pieces away from going to the next level and being a title contender.
The Nets are 18-22 and with Kevin Durant sidelined for the year with a torn Achilles and Kyrie Irving missing two months due to a shoulder injury.
The Nets are going to have to retool in the offseason and get healthy for next year to compete for a championship. However, they also need better play from Irving, who had 14 points and shot just 29% in the loss to the Sixers.
