D’Angelo Russell’s Warriors tenure was short lived, 33 games to be exact.
And while we never got to experience what a Russell-Curry-Thompson trio would look like on the court, he seems quite to be happy moving onto a familiar friend in Minnesota.

From the Warriors perspective, Russell emerged as an unexpected asset last summer from the ashes of losing Kevin Durant. Steve Kerr is accurate and is stating the obvious. Russell in his element needs the ball in his hands and it isn’t the most natural fit next to Steph or Klay going forward. The Dubs seem confident their culture will transform Andrew Wiggins into a cog of a championship team. Time will tell on that one.
