Monday on First Take, Snoop Dogg felt compelled to call in to offer his two cents on the Cowboys’ free agency. Snoop suggested that the Cowboys top priority should be resigning Dak Prescott. Snoop continued by saying that the Cowboys weren’t expecting Dak Prescott to perform so well considering expectations for a 4th round pick are usually tempered.
Dallas has a bunch of contractual issues to resolve this offseason and one would think securing its franchise signal-caller would be high on the list. However, the Cowboys have two very big names on the unrestricted free agent list in Pro bowlers Byron Jones and Amari Cooper. It should be noted that the Cowboys were able to find enough money to already secure the offensive line and of course the record-setting contract by Ezekiel Elliott.
The Cowboys thus far have decided to place the franchise tag on their Pro Bowl quarterbacked restricting other teams from signing him unless they are willing to part with two 1st round picks.
