Nicki Minaj’s removal of husband Kenneth Petty’s name from her social media accounts has sparked rumors that the couple has broken up.
According to Bossip, Minaj has changed her name form “Mrs. Petty” to “Yikes,” the name of her latest single that came out weeks ago.
Minaj has been MIA on social media for over a month,, and the last time the couple was seen together was back in February when they living it up in Trinidad. Minaj had to apologize for Petty’s behavior toward another artist at Carnivale.
After the couple arrived home, Petty was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California. Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995 and ordered to register whenever he moved. Petty moved from New York to California with Minaj in July 2019 and failed to register.
Petty entered a plea of not guilty and was released after paying a $100,000 bond. He is facing ten years in prison if convicted.
The status of Minaj and Petty’s relationship is unknown at this time.
