“The Last Dance” Michael Jordan documentary has sparked more debates about who the G.O.A.T. is in NBA history, and now NBA legend Charles Barkley is weighing in.
In an interview with Kentucky Wildcats head coach Joh Calipari, Barkley listed his best players in NBA history. Surprisingly LeBron James was relatively low on his list.
The list goes Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, and then LeBron James.
Barkley’s reasoning for LeBron being so low on his list is that he doesn’t feel like with the way guys play the games today, that James would want any part of the “Bad Boy” Pistons.
I love LeBron and everything about him, but I do think the way they play the game today, [James] didn’t want any part of those ‘Bad Boy’ Pistons.”
