Tensions are rising between Kristin Cavallari and her estranged husband, Jay Cutler, following Cutler filing for divorce earlier this month.
Cavallari is now demanding that Cutler stop blocking their money and preventing er from moving out on her own during the divorce.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Cavallari says that being around Cutler right now in the house is too much for her, and she wants Cutler to release the couple’s funds to let her move into a nearby mansion in Tennessee.
The mansion is a 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 6,911 sq. Ft. home in Franklin, Tennessee. The house was initially listed at $6.1 million in 2018 but failed to find a buyer.
Cutler rejected the request stating that the couple already has several properties that Cavallari could live in.
The couple recently put their 7- bedroom mansion in Nashville up for ale, which they originally bought in 2012 fo $5.3 million. Cavallari wanted to sell the property because it lacks internet access.
Cutler and Cavallari also own a $4.2 million house in Franklin, Tenessee.
Cutler filed for divorce on April 21, seeking legal and joint custody of their kids. Cavallari responded with a counter-complaint for divorce seeking primary custody of the kids, also accusing Cutler of “inappropriate marital conduct” during their marriage.
Cavallari also wants a cut of Cutler’s retirement money, as well as monthly child support.
