Michael Jordan stories are continuing to roll even after the conclusion of “The Last Dance.”
Jordan’s former Bulls teammate Brad Sellers, who was drafted to the Bulls in 1986, wasn’t happy with his minutes being cut after the additions of Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant, so he went to Jordan in 1989 and asked if he could get him a trade.
Jerry Bembry of The Undefeated told Sellers story.
You really want me to do that?” Jordan asked.
Absolutely,” Sellers replied.
OK,” Jordan said. “I’ll do it.”
The next night Sellers was at The Olive Garden enjoying a chicken parmesan when the restaurant manager informed him that he had a phone call.
