I stay in a new construction neighborhood. I routinely walk about houses that are halfway finished and take a look at them, that isn’t a reason to murder someone.
Here is the thing though, even though Ahmaud Arbery wasn’t doing anything wrong it shouldn’t matter. Our country isn’t supposed to be set up for armed white people to kill black people in the street because they think they are criminals and get away with. The sad thing, I would say if you feel that strongly someone is doing something wrong call the cops, but we know the cops can’t be trusted to do the right thing either.
We also know that white people have certain privileges that black people don’t have. Black people are always assumed guilty and a threat. If a white man was looking at an empty construction site people would say he is a potential buyer, but a black person is automatically considered a robber.
This white gentleman took a job in various neighborhoods with a small TV and people just waved at him.
Do you think if a black man was walking around with a TV in a white neighborhood that the cops wouldn’t be called?
I also want to point out that black people who sell their soul to the highest bidder like Candace Owens are the scum of the earth. They really are and it is sickening that someone of color would use the death of a black person for acceptance by white people, it is really sick.
