The NFL has done a complete 180 on their social justice stance.
They made a video apologizing for not listening to players sooner on racism after the worldwide protests against police brutality and racial injustices after the death of George Floyd and announced they were giving $250 million to help with racial injustices.
Although they apologized for not listening earlier, they didn’t apologize to Colin Kaepernick for blackballing him after his peaceful kneeling protest. Many rightfully think that the NFL should do the right thing and offer Kap a job.
Former NFL WR and HOF Terrell Owens even led a protest in front of SoFi stadium for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Kap chanting for the NFL to get their knee off of Kap’s neck and to apologize to him.
The NFL can make all the videos and give as much money as they want but people will always question how much it matters until they make right by Kap.
