22-year-old undefeated fighter Sebastian Fundora is fun to watch. At 6 feet, 6 inches tall, he usually towers over his super welterweight opponents. This will be no different tonight when he faces 5’11” veteran fighter Nathaniel Gallimore. Not only will Fundora have a 7” height advantage, his reach is 80” compared to Gallimore’s 73”.
With those comparative measurements, the keys to victory seem like they would be simple: use your height and length advantages and control the distance. But Sebastian Fundora “the towering inferno” likes to get on the inside and mix it up, which makes things interesting.
Fundora had a very tough fight versus Jamontay Clark in August of last year, where he took a lot of clean shots, but ultimately won via a close split decision with scores of 98-92 Fundora, 96-94 Clark and 95-95. He bounced back with a unanimous decision win versus Daniel Lewis, but still took a quite a few hits to get his own off. This fight will be a measuring stick of how far the Fundora team has gotten in developing his defense.

And Nathaniel Gallimore is a good step up for this test. Although Gallimore has lost three of his last four fights, those losses have all come via decision, and have all come to top tier opponents like Julian Williams, Patrick Texiera and Erickson Lubin. Gallimore has a notable KO victory over current WBA and IBF champion Jeison Rosario.
