This isn’t the first time Larry Johnson has said this about Kobe, LeBron and the Lakers.
He spoke on it after Kobe’s tragic death.
It should be clear that Kobe’s death was an accident and that is it. I know it rubs some people the wrong way how some especially in the media have leaned into the “This is for Kobe” storyline for clicks and clout, but I think saying he was a sacrifice is a bit much.
As you can imagine this got STRONG feedback on social media.
