Victor Oladipo is ready to figure out how the Indiana Pacers can transform into an NBA championship contender. Off the court, he’s soaking in knowledge as an investor.
The Associated Press reported Oladipo and business manager joined an ownership group to buy the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian National Basketball league. Oladipo’s business manager Jay Henderson will also join former Florida basketball player Matt Walsh in this lucrative opportunity.
“I was always interested in being part of team ownership, having input with a team and helping a team be successful on the business side of things. To work with a team from this perspective, I’m sure I’ll have newfound respect for the guys who have been in that position,” Oladipo told the Associated Press.
“It is what it is, it’s over with now. Emotions were felt. I have no ill will toward anybody,” Oladipo said. “I love everyone, I pray for everyone, that’s just the kind of guy I am. I just look forward to playing for the Pacers and winning a championship for the state of Indiana.”
This is a great opportunity and outside of the false rumors, something positive as this looks great for a Black man.
