It’s nothing new to say about Florida after a wild 2020.
With a nice state including the best weather, how can some of the people be evil?
According to ABC affiliate WPBF, 44-year-old David Anthony pleaded guilty on Monday to second-degree murder, kidnapping and was sentenced to 38-years in prison.
Anthony was arrested in Las Cruces, Mexico after he murdered his wife Gretchen earlier this year on March 21 per investigators.
According to reports, a Florida man was arrested in New Mexico earlier this year and extradited to his home state to face trial for the murder of his wife. David Anthony, 44, accepted a plea deal admitting to the murder of his wife and using pandemic quarantine rules to cover up the murder. Anthony pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and kidnapping and was sentenced to 38 years in prison for accepting the deal.
Anthony then sent messages to his wife’s family and friends explaining how she’s required to quarantine at a hospital after contracting the coronavirus. Cellphone towers pinged David and his wife’s cellphones in Texas on March 21 and New Mexico State Police caught up with the murderous husband on March 31.
Plenty of wives have been murdered by their husbands but the motives behind it never seem to be revealed.
