It was all good 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago the Steelers were undefeated l, with the no. 1 seed in the AFC and Big Ben was a big part of the MVP discussion. Fast forward until now and the Steelers have dropped 3 straight and are threatening to drop to 3rd or even 4th place. Defensive End Cameron Heyward did his best job to summarize his emotions following Monday nights loss to the woeful Bengals:
“I’m not disappointed — I’m just pissed off, We just lost the damn game. I think that’s the way our team feels. We’re not feeling sorry for ourselves, but we’ve got to get the job done. We’re two weeks out.”
His emotions are warranted as the Steelers entered the game as 14.5 favorites to win. The Steelers need to do their best to recover as the Chiefs are currently the hottest team in the NFL and the Steelers don’t appear to be the match we all thought they were at the season’s onset.
