Two nights ago Philadelphia 76er guard Seth Curry tested positive for “the vid 19” (coined by Philadelphia comedian Kevin Hart). As a result, Head Coach Doc Rivers’ squad suited with seven players against the Denver Nuggets.
Earning his first career start, rookie guard Tyrese Maxey scored 39 points, including 22 in the first half, tallying the most points by a rookie in a starting debut since 1970 and the most by a 76ers rookie since pound for pound goat Allen Iverson.
