A Black principal in South Carolina is getting praise for going out of his way to make sure he help students who are struggling.
“Principal Henry Darby of North Charleston High School, in addition to being a city councilman, works from 10 P.M. to 7 A.M. three nights a week stocking shelves at a local Walmart, and he donates the money from his job to help students pay bills, buy food, or pay tuition, as well as assist his teachers,” per Post & Courier reports.
Darby understands that sacrifice is important and by breaking his back for kids who live in poverty, he’s willing to live with the results.
Let’s just pray Darby mental health is okay if he goes the extra mile to fulfill people’s needs.
